A warm and sunny day is an invitation for breakfast at the beach. The beach of Bogatell in Barcelona is a bit further up than Barcelonetta, but the sand is cleaner and the city seems further away, giving more of a of holiday feeling.
The area around parallel used to be the amusement center of barcelona ages ago. The still standing symbol of that time is the run down builing of “el molino”, the moulin rouge of Barcelona.
3 hour train ride from Barcelona to reach the ski slopes of La Molina. Good weather, but little snow left at the beginning of April, but otherwise a nice ski-resort and close to Barcelona. You can buy an all inclusive ticket (ski pass and train fare) at Plaza Catalunya where you get the train tickets (more info: “Sport Activities”).
Pharmacies are on every corner and easy to spot in Barcelona. Just watch out for a blinking, green cross, indicating hour and temparature and you’ll find everything to cure your cold or hangover.
