Cafe Zurich

Cafe ZurichCafe Zurich must be the center of Barcelona. Located on the corner of Plaza Catalunya and at the beginning of la Rambla, Cafe Zurich is situated at a junction which connects Barrio Gotico with the Eixample and the west of the city with the east. Mixing up with all the people who pass this place when crossing Barcelona from one side to the other are the tourists arriving in Barcelona or visiting la Rambla. Cafe Zurich has established as a common meeting point and is a great place for watching people.

Portbou

PortbouPortbou is a small town in the north of the costa brava, close to the french border. Good for walks and visiting the Walter Benjamin memorial. It takes around two hours to get there from Barcelona.
